On completion of course, trainees would be able to:

- Satisfy English conversational basics to meet daily routines and social demands
- Understand simple learned workplace phrases and vocabulary
- Ready to sit for the service literacy test conducted by Ministry of Manpower.

Total of 36/48 hours of 3 hours- weekly session. A 15 minutes diagnostic interview will be conducted to recommend duration of training.
One- hour speaking test and one- hour listening test.
In-house Certificate of Attainment upon successful completion and external Service Literacy Test conducted by Ministry of Manpower.
A friendly environment that promotes interactive discussion. You will be encouraged to share experiences, participate in group discussions and role-play some of the techniques learned. You will take away a comprehensive workbook address speciﬁc problems.
$15 per hour ( $540 for 36 hours , $720 for 48 hours )
The Service Literacy Test (SLT) is developed for Work Permit Holders in the Retail, Hotel and Food & Beverage sectors, where the ability to communicate in English is essential for delivering good and effective service.
From 1 July 2010, Ministry of Manpower (MOM) mandates that Work Permit Holders in these sectors will have to pass the Service Literacy Test in order to qualify for skilled levy status, in addition to the current skilled status requirements.
